Who we are

JangoAI is a business owned by Maor Zliha in Israel. We build and operate automation and AI systems for businesses, including bots that answer a business's customers on WhatsApp and Instagram. For any privacy question: privacy@jango-ai.com.

Who this policy covers

• People who contact a business that uses a JangoAI system, for example by sending that business a WhatsApp or Instagram message.
• People who contact JangoAI directly.

What we process

• The messages in your conversation with the business: their content and when they were sent.
• Your name, username and phone number as WhatsApp or Instagram (Meta) provide them to the business you contact.
• Details you choose to share in the conversation, such as dates or preferences.
• Technical delivery data, such as whether a message was delivered.

We do not ask for passwords or payment details.

Why we use it

• To answer your messages on behalf of the business. The bot sends only replies the business wrote or approved.
• To pass your inquiry to the right person at the business, with a summary of the conversation.
• To keep a record of the conversation for the business.
• To keep the service working and secure.

We use automated tools, including AI models, to understand messages. The models help classify a message; the wording that is sent is wording the business approved.

On whose behalf

When you contact a business that uses our system, that business decides how your information is used, and we process it on its behalf and according to its instructions. You can ask the business, or us.

Who we share it with

• The business you contacted.
• Service providers that run the service for us: Meta (WhatsApp and Instagram), hosting, server and database providers, AI model providers (to classify message content), Google (business records and backups), and notification tools that alert the business to a new inquiry.

Providers process information only to provide their service. Some store data outside Israel, for example in the EU and the United States. We do not sell personal information and do not use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Conversations are kept while the business uses the service, or until you ask us to delete them. Backups are kept for up to 30 days and then deleted.

Security

Information travels over encrypted connections, access is limited to authorized people, and our servers are secured and backed up.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your information under Israel's Privacy Protection Law and, where it applies, the GDPR. Write to privacy@jango-ai.com.
